Wellsboro, PA & Ligonier, PA - The Circle W Sports team has expanded into District 6 with its latest entry of Ligonier Valley into the family.

Circle W Sports, LLC is an online service that provides a platform for high school teams and sports organizations to promote coaches, programs, and student-athletes.

The Rams are coming off a 12-1 (Heritage Conference champions) 2018 season with their only loss coming in the state playoffs to Richland.

"The Ligonier Valley Football program is very excited to announce that we will be working with Circle W Sports to develop a unique web-based platform to meet the needs of our players, parents, boosters, and alumni," head coach Roger Beitel said. "Because of the unique location of our school district, we find ourselves on the outer edge of all of the main news sources that many of our competitors reside. Circle W Sports will provide us the opportunity to promote our brand, players, and entire football program."

The Rams' new website gives other schools in the area a chance to see how Circle W Sports can help grow the brand and keep players, coaches, and family informed of the latest happenings with the team.

"We are excited to help Ligonier Valley establish its online presence," Circle W Sports Managing Editor Brett Crossley said. "We are excited to start our work with District 6 and plan on making Ligonier Valley's site an example of how teams sites should operate moving forward."

Circle W Sports found its beginnings in 2006 when owner Ed Weaver launched WellsboroFootball.com, the flagship website promoting the Wellsboro Hornet Football team. The organization provides the latest up-to-date scores, statistics, and coverage in this region. Since 2006, WellsboroFootball.com has recorded over a half million page views and has spawned other websites including WellsboroAthletics.com, WellsboroBaseball.com, WellsboroBasketball.com, WellsboroXC.com, WellsboroGolf.com, WellsboroSoccer.com, WellsboroSoftball.com, and WellsboroSwimming.com. Each website provides player information, rosters, schedules, statistics, and history about each Wellsboro team.

Circle W Sports also runs and manages websites for PIAA District IV, the Northern Tier League, the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame, Vaportrail 24/7, and the PIAA District 4 Football Coaches Association, provides statistical data to Pennsylvania Football News, WesternPAFootball.net, Home Page Sports, Fox Sports Williamsport, and the Valley Sports Report, and has launched websites for Athens Foootball, Loyalsock Football, Southern Columbia Football, Selinsgrove Football, Bucktail Football, Midd-West Football, and the Canton Warriors, Selinsgrove Seals, and Loyalsock Lancers Athletic Departments.

"Circle W Sports' goal in 2019 is to expand our coverage throughout the state of Pennsylvania and become a major player in the high school sports landscape," owner Ed Weaver said. "We want to dominate the state and provide the highest-quality platform we can so teams can control the narritive about their program, keep current and former community members engaged, as well as raise funds. We're proud that Coach Beitel came up and talked to us back at the PSFCA Coaches Convention in State College in February, and we can't wait to get their new website up and running in early June. The Ligonier Valley program is rich in tradition. We've already started working on inputing past data from the program, and we can't wait to show if off."
