Athens Football joins forces with Circle W Sports

Wellsboro, PA - Circle W Sports, the new name in the game for High School sports, is excited to announce that the Athens Wildcats Football team in Athens, PA is joining Circle W Sports.

Circle W Sports, LLC is an online service that provides a platform for high school teams and sports organizations to promote coaches, programs, and student-athletes.

The Wildcats are a perennial force to be reckoned with in both the Northern Tier League and District IV, and join other District IV members Selinsgrove, Loyalsock, and Southern Columbia to come on board with Circle W Sports in the summer of 2018. The Wildcats are getting a brand new website, www.athenspafootball.com, and Circle W Sports' easy-to-embed rosters, team schedules, game stats, photo galleries, and team history.

"The Athens Area Football Program is really excited about our new partnership with Circle W Sports for our new web page! Teaming with a local company that’s excitement and professionalism is outstanding is exactly what we need!," head coach Jack Young said. "Circle W Sports will provide our players, parents, and fans a source with all of our up to date scores, statistics, and links to much more. Circle W Sports is easy to use and I am very excited to see where they go with many new ideas that they are currently looking at to improve the already outstanding product that will increase promoting our program and athletes!"

Circle W Sports found its beginnings in 2006 when owner Ed Weaver launched WellsboroFootball.com, the flagship website promoting the Wellsboro Hornet Football team. The organization provides the latest up-to-date scores, statistics, and coverage in this region. Since 2006, WellsboroFootball.com has recorded over a half million page views and has spawned other websites including WellsboroAthletics.com, WellsboroBaseball.com, WellsboroBasketball.com, WellsboroXC.com, WellsboroGolf.com, WellsboroSoccer.com, WellsboroSoftball.com, and WellsboroSwimming.com. Each website provides player information, rosters, schedules, statistics, and history about each Wellsboro team.

Circle W Sports also runs and manages websites for PIAA District IV, the Northern Tier League, the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame and the PIAA District 4 Football Coaches Association, and provides statistical data to Home Page Sports, Fox Sports Williamsport, and the Valley Sports Report.
